Belgium - It is still unclear whether the vaccine against Corona prevents you from infecting others. That says the Belgian virologist Steven Van Gucht. Even if the vaccine is available, it is not yet said that all the misery is over.
"It is also still unclear whether the vaccine will protect us at all against the Corona virus. Perhaps we can still be carriers of the virus and not develop any symptoms. That is a potential risk," Van Gucht explained. "As long as that is not clear, we have to assume that it is possible that even after vaccination people will still have to be quarantined."
